Is it possible to have a look-alike?

Faces are inextricably linked with our identity. It is available in both aadhar cards and voter cards. For this, even after 10 years, friends can recognize you. Now we also use it to unlock our smart phone. From a young age, we know that everyone’s face is unique, but we also hear that there are many more who look same in some corner of the world. Then our confusion increases.

But is that really so? Does a human being like us really exist anywhere else in the world?

Judging by the scientific method, its truth is very low. A study was conducted in 2015 in Australia. In this study, researchers studied faces based on 8 different features. The research has come up with very exciting information –

The probability of looking like one another in the world is one in 135 percent. But is it possible to do exactly the same? According to 8 special features, the probability of having another person is 1 percent of 1 trillion. Which is simply impossible.

Tegan Lucas, a biologist at the University of Adelaide in Australia, conducted the study using 4,000 different faces from the US Anthropometric Survey (ANSUR) database.

Why do we hear so many people in our lifetime say, who has seen such look alike?

Honestly, it is possible to see somehow, but it is impossible to see exactly one way. Because when we see a person with the naked eye, we can remember or recognize the person by looking at the color of his skin, the shape of his face, or the type of nose or the color of his eyes. With the naked eye, we do not determine the human face according to the 8 characteristics of that study. So somehow we can’t understand it by looking at it with the naked eye. Excluding those 8 features, the color of the face, the color of the eyes and even the shape of the nose and many others are the same, so this confusion occurs.

This is how we actually see a lot of celebrity look alike. But none of them are exactly the same, only a few features. Which is not easy to detect with the naked eye. Even twin brothers and sisters are not exactly the same, there must be some special differences between them.

How can there be so many similarities even though they are not of the same blood line ??

But we are all genetically connected. It is estimated that each of us will have at least 50 brothers in the world. So biologically, it’s almost not uncommon to be almost the same. If we go back 65 generations from the current generation – we will have to leave behind 100,000,000,000,000,000 people. The biggest thing is that the current population is not so much. In other words, as time goes by, the number of people will decrease and the number of small families will decrease. So there is a possibility that your neighbor (even your wife or friend) and you are a member of the same family. So as the probability of the gene being the same increases, so does the probability of being almost the same. The fact is that there is a difference between one way or another, which we do not understand because we are not able to measure with the naked eye.

However, researchers say that facial recognition, fingerprint and DNA tests will play a key role in recovering evidence of criminal activity. That’s why criminals are being caught, “he said.” Currently, criminals are much more careful about leaving fingerprints or DNA samples at crime scenes. So the results of this study will be very useful later. ”

Based on those 8 special features, the face captured in the video can be matched perfectly with the criminals in the database. That is why they did not reveal those 8 special features to the public.

This study provides incredible evidence that facial anthropometric measurements are an effective way to identify offenders when a crime is detected under video or photographic surveillance.

So there is no chance of you getting caught up in the criminal activities of someone who looks like you. No matter what other says, he has seen someone exactly like you
